How VISION works...

Our team utilizes an integrated responsibility structure to foster better design, education, and a responsibility to our clients for the projects we create. Each of our five departments prepare and research information that is critical to each phase of our work.

Vision Team

Identification and Analysis

Goal: To identify all incoming projects and mark them with a level of desired sustainable design. The I&A team assists the Implementation & Review team with an up to date project list as well as an understanding of whether LEED certification is desired (by the client) and/or what level of sustainable design should be achieved.

Education and Resources

Goal: To advance the knowledge of sustainable design internally. Our E&A team is responsible for compiling a library of research and periodical literature, providing support and resources for those seeking LEED accreditation, as well as hosting our series of green lectures during Friday happy hours.

Specifications and Materials

Goal: To streamline general access to green materials and specs through the production of a series of in-house created green specs and our coded green material library system. Our Materials group is working towards a library consisting solely of green products!

Implementation and Review

Goal: To develop the opportunities identified by the I&A team by working with project team members to maximize opportunities for green design. The I&R team incorporates several LEED project reviews to ensure that projects stay on-track at each phase of design.

Documentation and Tools

Goal: To streamline the documentation process of LEED projects by creating and organizing documents, templates, and checklists for easier management. The Documentation team provides tech support for the project team members to ensure that the submittal reaches LEED completion.
